Timrå's club manager and CEO Frederik Innala is leaving his duties in the SHL club with immediate effect. "It has been both honorable and educational", says Innala in a press release.

Innala has had the role for 18 months. He describes the time in Timrå as both developing and demanding.

"It has been both honorable and instructive. The role is complex and demanding but the time has also been filled with development and pride over everything we have achieved together", he says.

Timrå is currently seventh in the SHL table with 23 points after 15 matches.

Helene Ersson takes over as acting club manager.

Ersson sits on Timrå's board and has previously been chairman of Medelpad's ice hockey association.

Corrected version: In an earlier version, Innala had been given the wrong title in the headline.
