A packed SCA Arena erupted as the jersey of former Timrå and NHL star Henrik Zetterberg was retired and raised to the ceiling.

"This raising of the jersey is for everyone here. We are all involved," an emotional Zetterberg told the Timrå crowd during his speech.

The speech was interrupted by visiting Björklöven supporters, drawing backlash from all sides - even from Björklöven players. "Shame on you," TV4 expert Staffan Kronwall said afterwards.

Several hockey icons were present at the ceremony, including Johan Franzén, Niklas Kronwall and the team that took Timrå up to the top league in the 1999–2000 season. Zetterberg was also honoured in video messages from former teammates such as Nicklas Lidström and Steve Yzerman.

Henrik Zetterberg has won World Championship gold, Olympic gold and the Stanley Cup. He now works as an adviser in Timrå and is a member of the sports group.
