It was an unfortunate situation at the end of the second period in the match that Frölunda won with 6–2.

Nicklas Lasu seemed to lose control when he came skating towards Dahlén to tackle him by the boards. Instead, he hit knee against knee on the Timrå star.

Jonathan Dahlén lay down and twisted in agony before being helped off the ice.

He will not return in the third period, said Timrå coach Olli Jokinen briefly to TV4 Play before the third period.

Nicklas Lasu received a match penalty for the foul that came when Frölunda led 4–1.

The victory means that Frölunda took a 3–2 lead in matches and can thus decide on Monday evening in Timrå.
