A truck carrying timber began to burn on the E4 north of Gävle on Tuesday evening. By 9 pm, the fire was extinguished.
There has been a lot of burning in the timber, so it's very hot, the truck won't be able to be moved for several hours, says Jimmy Andersson Taylor at the rescue service.
How did the fire start?
It was burning from the brakes, so I would assume that's where it was, says Jimmy Andersson Taylor.
Initially, the road was closed in both directions, but the rescue service will now gradually allow traffic to pass.
