During Saturday's competition, WTCS Hamburg, Tilda Månsson took bronze behind Frenchwoman Leonie Periault and German Lisa Tertsch.
It was a tough race and in the end I realized that third place was what I had to settle for. I don't want to be too hard on myself either, because taking a podium place at WTCS when the race didn't go the way I wanted is still very good, Tilda Månsson tells Sweden Triathlon.
It is her third podium finish of the season. In June she came second in Quiberon, France, and in May she won the competition in Yokohama, becoming the first Swede in 14 years to win in the World Championship series.
Tilda Månsson is now fourth overall in the World Championship series.
