"Violence and violent extremism have no place on TikTok, and we are working intensively with the help of specialists and technology to find and remove content and accounts that violate our rules. We continue to cooperate with the police and other relevant authorities to assist them in the ongoing investigation," the company writes, among other things.
A prominent image of a sword was shared on the app shortly before the attack. Police have not confirmed that the account that shared the image is connected to the attack, but are investigating the matter.
According to TikTok, the company has also contacted the Centre Against Violent Extremism, which previously said it had contacted the company.
