Woods played - and lost - when his team Jupiter Links faced Los Angeles Golf Club in the finals of the indoor league TGL.
Woods hasn't played in a "real" competition since The Open in the summer of 2024, when he missed the cut in his third straight major. In two weeks, the Masters will be played at Augusta National, the first major of the year that the now 50-year-old Woods has won five times.
"I want to play. I love the competition," says the American, who will travel to Augusta regardless.
It is still unclear whether he will also play in the Masters.
"We'll see how it goes. I'll practice and play at home this week and keep trying to make progress," said Woods, who had his most recent back surgery in October.
