The arrest video released by Martin County, Florida, police shows Woods exiting the car and talking on the phone a short distance away after the crash. When police ask him to come back, Woods says "Thank you very much" to the person on the phone and turns around.
"I just spoke to the president," Woods says, showing the phone.
Woods was then subjected to a number of tests, arrested and handcuffed.
"Are you arresting me?" Woods asks in surprise.
It is not clear which president Woods is referring to, but US President Donald Trump confirmed on Tuesday that he had contact with Woods at some point in connection with the crash.
Woods denies allegations that he was under the influence in connection with the accident. A breath test after the incident showed no alcohol, but the 50-year-old refused to submit to a urine test.
On Thursday, the golf star announced that he will not serve as captain of the US Ryder Cup team in 2027.
