It became chaos when the tickets to Oasis' reunion tour were released over the weekend, with skyrocketing ticket prices as a consequence. Now, the British government announces that it will review the overall situation surrounding large ticket releases.

"We will review the transparency and dynamic pricing, including the ticket system technology that enables it," says Britain's Culture Minister Lisa Nandy in a statement.

On Ticketmaster, one of the official resellers of Oasis tickets, standing tickets worth around 2,000 Swedish kronor were sold for more than 4,700 kronor, citing "high demand".

The pressure from fans led to the ticket prices quickly reaching astronomical sums on sites selling second-hand tickets, with prices of up to 6,300 pounds, equivalent to 85,000 Swedish kronor.

The 90s icons Oasis are making a comeback next summer since brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher made peace with each other. It's been 15 years since the band last toured.

Oasis plans 17 performances in the UK and Ireland, with the premiere on July 4 in Cardiff.
