The statutory meeting was held after major shareholders AMF, Handelsbanken Fonder and Alecta on Wednesday withdrew their request for an extraordinary general meeting to elect the board and its chair.
The request was withdrawn after Hans Eckerström, who had been on the board for 20 years, resigned as chair.
"The board is unanimous in its support of the company's strategic direction and has full confidence in the CEO and management team. Together, we will continue to drive Thule's development and create long-term value for our shareholders," says Blomqvist in the press release.
Thule's share price fell 1.2 percent after the announcement, representing a loss of 18 percent since the start of the year.
