"This is an important step in our long-term work with the species. Wolverine cubs are uncommon in European zoos and there is currently a shortage of young males in the European population," says Julia Christensen, a zookeeper at Kolmården, in a press release.
The gender of the cubs, who were born on February 6, is not yet known.
The wolverine is red-listed as vulnerable in Sweden.
