The hunt began around 00:30 on Monday night and about ten minutes later the car the people were traveling in overturned, reports Mölndals-Posten.
It's a patrol trying to stop a car, but the car refuses to stop, says Morten Gunneng, officer on duty at the police, to the newspaper.
The extent of the injuries to the people, two men and a woman, is unclear.
The driver is now suspected of grossly negligent driving, drunk driving, gross negligence in traffic and causing bodily harm.
