One of the drivers is suspected of gross negligence in traffic, causing bodily harm and drunk driving, Mats Eriksson at the Stockholm Police told TT.
According to witness accounts, the speed was high at the time of the collision, Eriksson said.
Per Tillander from the rescue service told TV4 that two people were taken to hospital by air ambulance and one by ambulance.
It was a serious accident, Per Tillander said.
Police were alerted to the accident shortly after 3 p.m.
