In an operation last week, one man was arrested and a few days later two more were arrested. The three are now in custody on suspicion of hunting offences allegedly committed between May 25 and June 1 this year. The trio are being held under restrictions because there is a risk they will destroy evidence.
According to Mora Tidning, the men are being held on probable cause.
The detainees deny any wrongdoing.
Moose hunting in Sweden is divided into two seasons and begins either in September or October, and may last until January 31 at the latest, according to the Swedish Hunters' Association.
