The injured people - both adults and children - were in the car.
"It is a very serious accident and we are working at the scene. An ambulance helicopter has been called, but I have no information on how many people have been taken to hospital," says the police officer on duty, Alexander Sterner.
There was a total shutdown on the E20 as a result of the accident for several hours, but around midnight the road was open again.
