The funeral ceremonies will begin in the capital, Tehran, on July 4 and will then be held in various parts of the country until July 9, when the burial will take place in Khamenei's hometown of Mashhad, which is also covered by the holiday declaration.
Neighboring Iraq will also hold a funeral ceremony for Khamenei.
The funeral was initially scheduled for March, but was postponed due to the war that began on February 28.
Khamenei, who ruled the Islamic regime for nearly 37 years, was killed on the first day of the war in Israeli and American airstrikes.
