Three police officers have been shot to death and two other police officers have been seriously injured in southern Pennsylvania, USA. The incident occurred when the police followed up on an investigation related to domestic violence earlier in the week.
The shooting broke out in the North Codorus Township area, just over 18 miles west of Philadelphia. The shooter was shot to death, the police report.
Governor Josh Shapiro condemns the violence at a press conference. Minister of Justice Pamela Bondi calls the violence against the police "a scourge for our society".
