It was two men in their 20s and one man in his 30s who were hit. All of them have received medical care, one of them for serious injuries, according to Region Skåne. The condition of the other two people is not known.
The three people were walking together on a sidewalk in Trelleborg around 22.30 on Wednesday evening when a car for unknown reasons drove up and onto them, according to the police.
We consider it to be a deliberate act. It could be a medical condition, but then the driver and the car tend to stay. Here, one has steered up onto the sidewalk and then one has driven away, says Fransson.
The police continue their work, among other things by reviewing possible cameras in the area and talking to possible witnesses.
We are working on a detective job. The car is of course interesting, and witness statements. The next puzzle piece is to find the driver.
