The man, who is in his mid-60s, is charged with, among other things, aggravated rape of a child, aggravated sexual abuse of a child, and several counts of rape of a child. According to the indictment, he also had over 19,000 child pornographic images depicting particularly brutal abuse material, reports Borås Tidning.
In addition to the man, two other people are being charged. A man in his 60s, who has previously been convicted of aggravated rape of a child, is being charged with new crimes, and a woman in her 30s is being charged with sexual assault.
Several other people have already been convicted of involvement in the pedophile scandal.
