Three municipalities reported to the police after deaths in LSS care

"In two of the cases, people have died," Anders Lago, chairman of FUB, tells SVT.

This concerns a person in Helsingborg who choked after being served the wrong type of food, and a person in Ängelholm who was found dead after almost three weeks without supervision.

In the third case, a person in Ystad was forgotten for ten years.

FUB has filed three police reports against the entire healthcare chain in the three municipalities.

The municipalities state that measures have been taken, according to SVT.

In an email, Petter Hector, Ystad's social director, writes that what happened is a "terrible mistake" that cannot be "defended in any way."
