Three men in their 20s have been sentenced to nearly five years in prison for shooting at a villa outside Skellefteå, local media report.

The incident occurred during a party last summer, when the men fired a shot into a nearby villa. The bullet lodged in a display cabinet after entering through the outer wall and passing a mother and daughter who were watching television a few meters away.

One of the now convicted men is believed to have fired the shot. Another loaded the rifle and the third urged the shooter to shoot - while filming the incident, reports Norran.

The three men were sentenced to four years and nine months in prison each, after being found guilty of causing danger to others and aggravated weapons offenses. They must also pay 20,000 kronor each in damages.
