Three men aged 45-70s have been detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder of a man outside Kramfors on Tuesday, according to local media.
The police were alerted to an outdoor assault on Tuesday evening. A 55-year-old man was taken to hospital, but he later died of his injuries.
The night after the murder, a 45-year-old man was arrested and detained. On Wednesday, two more men were detained.
According to SVT Västernorrland, two of the men are suspected on probable grounds of murder. The third man is suspected of aiding and abetting murder.
