Earlier on Friday, the Russian strike force announced that three people had been killed in a Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian-occupied part of the Donetsk region and one in southern Russia.
The three in Donetsk were reportedly repairmen at a water supply company, Reuters reports, citing the Russian-appointed local leader, Denis Pushilin. A fourth person is said to have been seriously injured.
In Volgograd in southern Russia, a 60-year-old man was killed at a chemical factory. A slightly younger woman was seriously injured in the Ukrainian drone attack and is being treated in hospital, AFP writes, citing the region's governor.
In Ukraine, two women, in their 50s and 80s respectively, were injured in a Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia overnight Friday, Governor Ivan Fedorov stated on Telegram.
