Several people have been injured in some form of serious violent crime in Trondheim, Norway, reports Norwegian police. At least three have been taken to hospital.
The police are not providing further details on what happened at this stage, but report that a suspected perpetrator has been apprehended. According to preliminary information, a knife was used, reports the newspaper VG.
"Heart and lung resuscitation was performed on the spot on one person. In addition, there are three others who have injuries, including the perpetrator", it states in a brief press release.
There is nothing that raises suspicions that there are more suspected perpetrators, according to the police.
