The police were called at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday to a fight outside a villa in Älvsjö.

When we arrived at the scene, it appeared that, as we currently believe, one person had fired a weapon and three people had been injured, says police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind.

Two of the people, a man and a woman, are said to have suffered minor injuries. The third person, a man, is believed to have been more seriously injured. However, the police have been able to speak to all three.

A suspect, an adult man, was arrested shortly afterwards. He is now suspected of attempted murder.

Do you know if the people involved know each other?

It's part of what we're looking at, but the picture is that it's about some type of conflict that is isolated to this, says Carina Skagerlind.

At the moment, there is nothing that makes the police suspect links to gang crime, according to Carina Skagerlind. The police have an idea of what type of weapon was used, but do not want to comment on it.

At 3:30 p.m., the police announced that the technicians had finished their work at the scene and that the case had now been handed over to prosecutors.
