"At 10:33 we received a call about a fight or other conflict outside a villa in Älvsjö. When we arrived at the scene, it became apparent that, as we currently believe, one person had fired a weapon and three people had been injured," says police spokesperson Carina Skagerlind.
Two of the people, one of whom is a woman, sustained minor injuries. The third person is considered more seriously injured. However, the police have been able to speak to all of them.
"Pretty much immediately, a suspect was arrested," Skagerlind says. He is an adult man suspected of attempted murder. The area has been cordoned off.
We are talking to witnesses, continuing a search of the area and trying to build a picture of what happened.
There is no reason for concern for those around us. We have arrested the person we believe is the suspect at this time.
The police have an idea of what type of weapon was used but do not want to comment on it now.
Do you know if the people involved know each other?
It's part of what we're looking at, but the picture is that it's some type of conflict isolated to this, Skagerlind says.
