The incident is believed to have occurred in a residence, and one person is suspected of attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences.
"We have cordoned off a house. The crime appears to have taken place in a residence," says Gustav Belin.
The suspected perpetrator is one of the three injured, all described as middle-aged, according to police. All of them - two men and a woman - have been taken to hospital.
Police say they are not currently looking for any more people involved.
The working hypothesis is that it is the three people who were involved in this, says Belin.
The alarm about the incident came in around 11:30 p.m.
