The Swedish version of the dating program "Love is blind" hit like a bomb among viewers last year. The dramatic events followed each other, and the Swedish version became a Netflix favorite even among international fans.
In the end, three of the couples got married, all of whom are still together. Two children have also come into the world, and a third is on the way.
But how many of the couples get married in the latest season? Now the last episodes of the program have been released, where love-seeking singles get engaged without having seen each other first.
Nathalie and Wictor
Nathalie Loveless, 27, and Wictor Dörrich, 33, found each other in the dating pods. While Nathalie fell head over heels for Wictor, he was more hesitant, and doubted several times during the season. Were they too similar to each other? Would their daily life become too dull? He turned and twisted the situation and expressed some doubt as late as on the sex exam.
In the end, he landed on Nathalie being completely right for him, and both said yes at the altar.
Karin and Niklas
Sparks flew between Karin Westerberg, 36, and Niklas Agild, 36, from the start. They discovered that they lived only 200 meters away from each other in the Stockholm suburb of Gröndal, and when they finally saw each other, everything went smoothly. On screen, they appeared as the season's most in-love couple, and the only little hitch on the way was that Niklas wondered for about a second if it could be a problem that they didn't have anything to argue about.
The couple, of course, said yes to each other.
Karolina and Jakob
Karolina Finskas, 38, and Jakob Grünberg, 35, got off to a slightly shaky start in the pods. Jakob seemed to promise two women that she was his favorite, and Karolina soured. During the honeymoon trip to Crete, she emphasized that she wasn't attracted to his appearance and expressed doubts until the days before the wedding. Then it finally clicked for her, and she dared to tell Jakob that she loves him.
During a nerve-wracking wedding ceremony, she finally said yes to a relieved Jakob.
Alicia and Oskar
Alicia Sjöberg, 32, and Oscar Lind, 29, got problems already during the honeymoon trip. Alicia thought Oscar was closing himself off and not being himself with her, but she wanted to continue investing in the relationship. Just before the wedding, after a couple of days' break from each other, Oscar concludes that he's not in love, breaks up, and leaves Alicia both sad, angry, and disappointed.
Milly and Ola
Milly Carlsson, 33, and Ola Jönsson, 43, have been the season's big gossip couple. New-age Ola hugs crystals and goes barefoot for "grounding", and Milly tries to handle what she calls his "fluff". He concludes that he doesn't get turned on by women with her short haircut and thinks she's insecure because she likes chips, candy, soda, and a glass of wine occasionally, and because she parties.
"Run Milly, run" becomes a hashtag on the internet, and when Ola breaks up with her, the viewers cheer, thinking the dumping is her salvation.
