Three charged with murder after shooting outside Örebro mosque

A 16-year-old is charged with shooting the man several times during Friday prayers on August 15. The indictment states that the 16-year-old admits to the murder, which is described as an "execution."

He is also charged with attempted murder of another man outside the mosque, who was hit in the arm.

A 25-year-old and a 23-year-old man are also charged with murder. The 23-year-old was on a video call with the 25-year-old outside the mosque. According to the indictment, the 25-year-old is said to have pointed out to the 16-year-old the man who was to be shot.

Nine others are charged with aiding and abetting for participating in the planning.

Several people are also being charged with other crimes. These include preparing to murder a person in Örebro in October and aggravated assault. The incidents are linked to a gang conflict.
