Late Wednesday afternoon, police were alerted that the woman had received a call from a person claiming to represent a bank or insurance company. Shortly afterwards, a perpetrator arrived and took bank cards and gold jewellery, among other things, police wrote on their website.
Following investigative measures, the three men were arrested in Malmö on suspicion of aggravated fraud. One of them is also suspected of violence against an official and violent resistance in connection with the arrest.
More arrests may be forthcoming, according to police.
