The police were alerted on Friday night to an address in Skurup about a man in his 50s who had suffered stab or slash wounds. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The police later arrested three people, two men and a woman, suspected of involvement in what is classified as attempted murder. All three, as well as an additional man in his 35s, were detained on Saturday.
The police have not provided any information about the victim's condition.
