This year, several cases of serious threats and violence against Pågatågen's staff have been reported to the Work Environment Authority, reports the newspaper Arbetet.

Employees who work on board the trains in Skåne have been subjected to death threats, assault and harassment. "Be careful so you don't get a bullet in the forehead" is one of the threats that has been reported. Now, safety representatives are sounding the alarm that staff are worried about their own safety. This applies especially before the summer, when more people are traveling.

Many are terrified of how it will be, says safety representative Samantha Nordahl to the newspaper.

VR Sverige, which operates the Pågatågen, does not recognize this picture and means that they have not received any information about the staff's concern.

According to Arbetet, eight cases have been reported to the Work Environment Authority between January and May.
