The situation involving threats and violence at several of the city's elementary schools is escalating and urgent, says Chief Safety Officer Simon Sandström to Vi Lärare.

In September alone, 338 incidents of threats and violence were reported, several of which were reported to the police. This prompted the teachers' union's chief safety representative to file a so-called "6:6a report" demanding immediate action. If no action is taken, the case will be referred to the Swedish Work Environment Authority.
