The man was charged with 19 counts of attempted aggravated blackmail, aggravated unlawful threats and assault in court proceedings. The plaintiffs, who have resided both in Sweden and abroad, have received repeated and serious threats, which have been reinforced by, among other things, images and films depicting aggravated violence.
"The perpetrator has, in the ways in which the threats were carried out, alluded to belonging to known criminal networks and access to the violent capital that this typically entails," said prosecutor Lars Lindman in a comment when the indictment was brought.
The man is sentenced to five years and ten months in prison by Nacka District Court.
