Malcolm Momodou Jallow, a former Left Party member of parliament and now a political commentator, is suspected of having been threatened, his lawyer, Kristoffer Ståhl, told the newspaper.
The National Security Unit is handling the investigation and, according to Chief Prosecutor Per Lindqvist, there is a suspected perpetrator, but he has not yet been detained. It is unclear when the threat is said to have taken place.
