Tens of thousands of people took to the streets in the Spanish city of Valencia on Saturday to mark the anniversary of the floods in the area, and to criticize how they were handled.
It was last year that 229 people perished in the floods.
Many of the demonstrators carried pictures of the victims, and called for the regional leader Carlos Mazón to resign due to what is described as a slow handling of the natural disaster.
