One of the investors behind the resort on the island of Sazan off the coast of Albania is US President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
This is the 42nd consecutive night of similar demonstrations. The Albanian people's resistance is based on frustration over perceived corruption, and calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama have also been made.
On Saturday, demonstrators also protested against artist Kanye West's concert in the city that evening. The rapper has been accused of anti-Semitism and has been banned in several countries, and planned gigs in Poland and France, among others, have been canceled.
