Thousands of people have taken to the streets of the Venezuelan capital Caracas to demand the release of the country's former president Nicolás Maduro - who was captured by the United States earlier this year.

Since Maduro's capture, Interim President Delcy Rodríguez has walked a balancing act - trying to ensure continued support from the United States while at the same time maintaining support from Maduro's supporters in the government and among the population.
