"I didn't take a single penalty in my entire football career, but now that I had the great honor of taking one again, I took it, and I think I finally got it right," Thomas Stenström told the Swedish Football Association's website.
Sweden will face Tunisia, the Netherlands and Japan in the group stage.
"Together with all the supporters, we want to create new memories, and Thomas and the song will help create that awesome feeling that can only arise during a championship summer," says team captain Victor Nilsson Lindelöf.
The World Cup will be held in Canada, Mexico and the United States, June 11–July 19.
