Alexander Skarsgård's much-talked-about BDSM drama "Pillion" is coming to theaters, while Henrik Dorsin plays a dramatic role in "The Swedish Link." Here are this week's movies and series.

MOVIE (premiere 6/2, in cinemas unless otherwise stated).

"Pillion".

A romantic drama with BDSM elements. Alexander Skarsgård plays Roy, the leader of a gay motorcycle gang who takes on the shy, heartbreaking loner Colin (Harry Melling) as his love slave. Their relationship is anything but equal, and the outside world has difficulty understanding it.

“The Swedish link”.

From the cast, you might think it's a comedy, but the film is a drama about the feverish struggle of some Swedish Foreign Ministry officials to save as many Jews as possible from the Nazis during World War II. Henrik Dorsin plays Gösta Engzell, a kind of predecessor to Raoul Wallenberg. Sissela Benn, Johan Glans and Jonas Karlsson have supporting roles. The film will premiere in a few theaters before coming to Netflix on February 19.

"Marty Supreme".

Timothée Chalamet has been praised for his role as Marty Mauser, a shoe salesman with questionable morals in 1950s New York. When he's not seducing customers, he is also an elite table tennis player.

"The villain of villains."

I Just Want To Be Cool's first feature film is based on the comedy group's book series about twelve-year-old Stephanie (Billie Colliander) who fails to get into the School of Heroes and then applies to the School of Villains instead.

"The secret agent".

Political thriller set during the Brazilian military dictatorship in the 1970s. Armando (Wagner Moura) sympathizes with the opposition, but takes a job with the regime under a false name. It is a major competitor to Norway's "Sentimental Value" for an Oscar for best international film in March.

TV/STREAMING

"The Ox" (10/2, TV4 Play).

The second season of the Danish thriller series about soldier-turned-hunter Niels Oxen (Jacob Hauberg Lohmann). Oxen has tracked down the secret power elite Danehof, a group that threatens Danish democracy.

“Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” (5/2, SkyShowtime).

Holly Hunter plays the principal who will train a new class of cadets in the sequel to the TV series "Star Trek: Discovery" that aired last year.

“Cross” (11/2, Prime Video).

The second season features author James Patterson's character Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge), this time hunting someone who is apparently targeting some of the most corrupt billionaires in the business world.
