"Borderlands"
Meat artist Eli Roth ("Hostel", "Thanksgiving") has taken on the popular video game series "Borderlands" in a star-studded popcorn roll (Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Ariana Greenblatt, among others, participate). Everything takes place on a planet far away, where the notorious bandit Lillith forms an alliance with a group of outsiders to find the missing daughter of the universe's most powerful man.
"It Ends with Us" (7/8)
Blake Lively plays Lily Bloom. A florist with a traumatic childhood who falls for a violent man. The relationship becomes a toxic reminder of her parents' relationship. Film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's successful novel.
"Time to Love" (9/8)
Love blossoms in post-war France when Madeleine and François start a jazz club popular with American soldiers. But their past holds secrets. Director Katell Quillévéré competed with the film in Cannes, and was inspired by her grandmother's secret relationship and child with a German soldier after World War II.
"Ezra" (9/8)
Bobby Cannavale plays a comedian on the decline who struggles with his role as a father to his autistic son. "Ezra" has received cautiously good reviews for its acting, as well as its empathetic portrayal of people on the autism spectrum and their relatives.

"Doomed" season 2 (7/8, SVT and SVT Play)
Prison series are becoming increasingly popular. SVT's documentary "30 Days in Prison" in the spring is followed up in the fall on the same channel by the drama series "From the Inside" – about young gang criminals inmates. Before that, the second season of the British "Doomed" arrives. The series takes place, unusually, in a women's prison, where three prisoners meet on the same day they arrive. Strong social criticism and acclaimed actors in the lead roles.
"The Umbrella Academy" season 4 (8/8, Netflix)
The dysfunctional superhero family is back, and in the fourth season, the timeline has been completely restarted. The Hargreeves siblings have been stripped of their powers and have had to find new ways to live. But soon, mysterious forces begin to conspire, and "Umbrella Academy" must call for a reunion.
"Industry" season 3 (12/8, Max)
The finance wolves at the fictional investment bank Pierpont & Company return for more drama, inferiority complexes, and high stakes. New characters are introduced, and the old ones are pushed to their limits with sex and drugs as their only outlet.
