Daniel Craig is far from James Bond in his new role in Luca Guadagnino's film adaptation of William S Burroughs' autobiographical novel "Queer". Lee (Craig) is on the run from justice in the USA and on the hunt for drugs in Mexico City when he becomes obsessed with the young Allerton (Drew Starkey).

One morning, 13-year-old Jamie (Owen Cooper) is suspected of murder. Each episode of the miniseries is filmed in one take.

Ruth Ellis became in 1955 the last woman to be executed in the UK. Lucy Boynton plays the lead role in the miniseries about the doomed romance that had such fatal consequences.
