The Prime Minister's salary after the increase is 211,000 SEK per month and other cabinet ministers receive 166,500 SEK per month.
This corresponds to an increase of around 3.4 percent in salaries.
The decision was made by the Government Remuneration Committee, which, on behalf of the Riksdag, determines the government ministers' remuneration and severance pay.
