On Wednesday, a person was also detained on probable grounds suspected of the same crime. It involves two men, both over 18 years old, says prosecutor Jenny Örn to DN. Both were arrested during Wednesday.
A 14-year-old boy is already suspected of the shooting.
The shooting on Södra Kungsgatan in Gävle occurred just before 2 am on Saturday night. Six people were hit and sustained injuries to their lower body, but no one is said to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
The police have stated that the incident is gang-related. However, those who were shot are not linked to gang environments by the police and are not believed to have been intended targets.
