Man in His 20s Arrested on Suspicion of Aiding Murder in Bagarmossen Shooting

A third person is suspected of involvement in the fatal shooting in Bagarmossen, southern Stockholm, on October 23, P4 Stockholm reports.

A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting murder, a prosecutor has confirmed to P4.

The woman arrested yesterday has now been released after the suspicions against her weakened, the prosecutor also said.

A 36-year-old man has previously been remanded in custody on probable cause on suspicion of murder. The prosecutor has identified him as the suspected shooter.

The fatal shooting occurred on the afternoon of October 23. The victim, a 27-year-old man, was shot next to a car in a residential area and later died of his injuries.

“We believe it could have been a case of mistaken identity,” prosecutor Elsa Karlberg told TT a week after the shooting.
