Häll broke two Swedish records in the 800-meter freestyle when she surprisingly reached the final and finished sixth.
In the 1,500-meter freestyle, she was just over three seconds outside her Swedish record with a time of 16.29.12 and finished ninth, just outside the final field.
But eighth place was almost seven seconds away.
"It was tougher than the 800, you had to work a little harder. I fell behind at the start, so it's hard to catch up," she says.
Thilda Häll still has the 400-meter freestyle left, which will be decided on Sunday.
I'm really pumped, I love the 400. Now I have two days where I can rest and recharge, she says.
