It is now clear who will be leading the Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland this spring. It will be Hazel Brugger, Sandra Studer, and Michelle Hunziker, reports the state-owned radio and TV company SRG SSR.

Hazel Brugger was born in the USA but grew up in Zurich, and is an award-winning comedian and presenter. The artist Sandra Studer represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1991 and came fifth under the artist name Sandra Simó. Over the years, she has been a presenter for both the Swiss and German equivalents of Melodifestivalen. Michelle Hunziker is described as one of Switzerland's internationally most well-known entertainment profiles, and has, among other things, been a presenter for the Sanremo Festival.

Brugger and Studer will also be leading the two semifinals.

The Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Basel on May 13-17, since the artist Nemo from Switzerland won the competition in Malmö last year.
