In this year's edition of "Love is blind", unusually few couples remain on the program as the wedding approaches - and fewer than before ultimately say yes to each other.

Daniel Fjäll, 43, and Johanna Storm, 38, bonded over the fact that they were both "hot as the weather", but their love story turned out to be more stormy than cozy in a mountain cabin. The final straw was perhaps when Daniel recorded Johanna without her knowledge, or when she happened to overhear him talking about how he would rather do the dirty work than go through the experiment again.

The couple went their separate ways at the beginning of the penultimate episode.

Faith is a problem

Ronja Eriksson, 36, and Lars-Erik Danielsson, 35, were united in the loss of a parent in the pods. But already on their honeymoon, a change in mood was noticeable. Lars-Erik's deep Christian faith eventually became too heavy a cross for the couple to bear.

At the beginning of the wedding episode, they decided not to take their relationship all the way to the altar.

Sang a love song

Sparks flew between Aniela Eklund, 30, and Ibrahim Kass Gergi, 33, in the pods, especially when Aniela performed a self-written song for the man of her dreams. The couple's biggest – and seemingly only – problem has been that Ibrahim lives and works in Jönköping while Aniela is based in Stockholm.

At the altar, the couple said yes, after Aniela once again sang the love song she wrote for Ibrahim.

Doubts too big

When Angelica Karlsson, 30, saw Aron Walker, 36, in real life for the first time, she had a strong physical reaction, something that resembled a panic attack and was also shown on the program. The couple has had their differences, but also expressed that they love each other. Aron was approved by Angelica's friends, with Samir Badran among them.

Ultimately, however, the doubts became too great for Angelica, who shortly before the wedding ceremony declared that she did not feel ready to get married, something Aron took it very hard.

Now comes the reunion episode, where the couples will talk about how they have moved on with their lives after the love experiment. Netflix has not yet announced a date when it will be available to watch.

Facts: "Love is blind"

The third season of “Love is blind: Sweden” premiered on Netflix on March 12. The show is hosted by Jessica Almenäs and is based on a social experiment. During the dates, the participants sit in separate rooms, and if a couple chooses to get engaged, they get to meet face-to-face for the first time.

After the meeting, the couples spend five weeks living together to find out if the relationship will last all the way to marriage. The program has been a great success, both in Sweden and internationally, and was awarded at the Kristallengalan.

The original format premiered in 2020 and the concept has since spread to several countries around the world, including Brazil, Japan, the United Kingdom and Germany.
