Northern Ireland will be Sweden's opponent in the men's national football team's first home game of the year.
On March 25, Sweden will play against Northern Ireland at Strawberry Arena. It will be the second match during the first gathering for Jon Dahl Tomasson's national team, the first being played away against Luxembourg on March 22.
Sweden, which is ranked 27th in the world, will face Slovenia, Kosovo, and Switzerland in the qualifying rounds for the 2026 World Championship in the USA, Canada, and Mexico this autumn.
"Northern Ireland won, just like us, their C-group in the Nations League and takes the step up to the B-division. It will be good opposition in our preparations for the autumn's World Championship qualifying rounds", says national team manager Stefan Pettersson to the association's website.
Northern Ireland is currently ranked 71st on FIFA's world ranking, Luxembourg is ranked 92nd.
