Last year, cross-country skier Moa Ilar took her first World Championship victory when she was the fastest in the 20 km mass start in Ruka.
But when this year's World Cup season kicks off at the same venue, Ilar will be watching from the sidelines. The 27-year-old has not been selected for Friday's 10 km classic style event.

The competitions in Ruka continue on Saturday with sprint and on Sunday, the 20 km mass start will be held.
