They attend the Nobel – the princess at home with the children

This year's Nobel Prize ceremony and Nobel Party will be attended by King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill. Princess Sofia, however, announced early last fall that she will not be attending, the court said.

"She is at home with the children. Little Ines was born this spring. The princess has refrained from several official programs this year due to the birth of the child," writes the court's head of information, Margareta Thorgren, in a text message.
